From Oilfield to Home Field: My Journey

A New Chapter

For 20 years, I worked in the oilfield, spending weeks and months away from my family to provide a good life for them. The oilfield was all I knew. When COVID hit, everything changed. It was the end of an era. But it was also the beginning of a new one. I took a leap of faith and joined a friend's HVAC company, not expecting to make the same money or to be home every night. Five years later, I've not only matched my previous income but have also built a solid reputation and get to be with my family each evening.

Taking the Leap

I didn't stop there. I pursued further training and earned a technical degree in HVAC. Now, I'm continuing my education with an associate's degree. I am most proud of matching my previous income, betting on myself, and mastering HVAC. I want other men who are looking to provide for their families to find inspiration and hope through my story, knowing that it's possible to reinvent themselves and find success and fulfillment in a new career.

More Than Just a Job
